ProgressBytes was founded by Lloyd Stevens, a Computer Science teacher and former Assistant Headteacher with 20 years' experience across education, school leadership and technology.
The products grew from problems encountered in real classrooms: understanding what students know, giving useful feedback, improving revision and reducing the time teachers spend working around systems that do not quite meet their needs.
Products are developed through classroom use, feedback and iterative improvement, combining educational experience with modern software, data and AI-enabled technologies.
These started as answers to specific classroom problems. They are free to use.
Current work is exploring how AI can support assessment, feedback and learning insight, while keeping educational purpose and teacher oversight at the centre. These features are not launched.
